Virtual Partner Velocity Broadcast: How to Generate High-Quality Leads

October 21, 2010 - 0 Comments

Our next Virtual Partner Velocity event is happening soon—next week, in fact. So what’s on tap for our broadcast?

This time around, we’ll hear about lead nurturing. During the session Creating High Quality Leads Through Improved Content Creation and Data Management, which will take place on October 28 at 7:30 a.m. PST, Luanne Tierney, VP of WW Partner Marketing, will chat with Dave Green, Director of Best Practices and Applied Research with MECLABS.  Dave will talk about lead nurturing, and the content and data implications of lead nurturing and scoring.

So what is lead nuturing?

While lead nurturing might sound like kind of a strange term (I associate the word nurturing with animals, or plants), it actually is a very important concept. After all, once you’ve converted a visitor to your website into a potential lead, you need to take the next, appropriate steps. And lead nurturing can help you build a relationship with a potential lead, and convert him into a true sales opportunity as you move him through your marketing and sales funnel.

While Dave will chat about lead nurturing, he’ll also talk about best practices in greater alignment between sales and marketing, how to create more relevant content, making improvements in data quality, and how those can factor in improving lead quality.

Interested in attending? Then be sure to register—it’s sure to be a thought-provoking broadcast.
