Yesterday at Cisco’s Partner Summit, our partners heard how Cisco is accelerating digital opportunities. We discussed how we continue to evolve our portfolio, roles and resources to drive better value and innovation across our Partner Ecosystem. As part of this, we introduced our next generation data center strategy and expanded portfolio, as well as new digital marketing services for partners.
Today, we are announcing more industry-changing innovation to further accelerate our customers’ journey toward digital. Cisco’s Digital Network Architecture (DNA) is Cisco’s new open, extensible and software-driven network platform. It is designed specifically for digitization through virtualization, automation and cloud-based services.
It is expected that by 2020, 40 percent of existing businesses will be impacted by a digital disruptor (Cisco Digital Study, Sep 2015) driving new business models. Although digital transformation is fueled by multiple technology trends – such as mobility, IoT, analytics and cloud – the one common element is the network.
This common element also happens to be Cisco’s expertise. At the core of Cisco DNA is a modernized software-driven network that delivers automation, insights and comprehensive security services, required by customers on their digital journey.
For partners, DNA provides many new capabilities and profitability opportunities. Namely, it provides a pathway for customers toward digitization, enabling faster innovation, reduced cost and complexity, as well as increased security – all through an open and extensible architecture network.
This combination of virtualization, automation, analytics and the cloud delivered via Cisco ONE helps partners expand their focus on the software lifecycle. It accelerates the refresh of their installed base and helps drive conversations with new buyers, balancing IT and Line of Business influence. It also, offers increased professional services and business consulting opportunities that build additional recurring revenue opportunities through managed services.
Support from the Cisco Global Sales team along with new learning and enablement opportunities will be available to our partners around the world as they embrace Cisco DNA.
As technology becomes the #1 investment priority for our customers, we are also pleased to offer partners aggressive consumption-based options to provide customers choice and flexibility.
Cisco Capital Easy Pay is a three-year fair market value zero percent lease for all products that are a part of Cisco DNA. Customers pay 90 percent of the cost, over the three-year loan term, providing predictable monthly payments and cash flow management. At the end of the three-years the customer has three options: keep; return and refresh or purchase the assets for 10 percent of the original purchase price.
