Global Partner Pulse Survey: What’s on Your Minds?

- June 21, 2010 - 0 Comments

Putting a finger on the pulse of what you’re thinking: This is the goal of the Global Touch Partner Pulse Survey with Small Business Partners. The survey is conducted on a quarterly basis, and the results help guide our decision-making for products, programs, and services in the small business arena.

In this video, Andrew Sage, VP of WW Small Business Sales, shares some highlights from the Q2 Pulse Survey.

So what exactly is on the minds of Small Business partners? Read on to find out.

Overall, partners feel their business and profitability with Cisco is good…and improving.

In the survey, partners indicated that they’re satisfied with investments being made in the Small Business portfolio.

We agree that it’s important to meet the evolving needs of small business, so last week we introduced the new Smart Storage family of products for small business. These devices provide great performance in an affordable desktop network storage solution that’s easy to use, and provides customers with an efficient and manageable way to centralize, protect, and share information. (Check back on this blog soon for a full tour of the Smart Storage products.)

Partners also say that training needs to be improved and that you want easier access to lower-cost training.

We’re listening! One way we hope to address these issues is through Quick Learning Modules (QLM). These online modules, which are available through the SMB University, provide a simple, digestible way to get training at your convenience.

Survey participation was up this time around, so a big thanks to the thousands of small business partners who provided us with feedback to Cisco stay attuned and aligned with your needs.

If you have any additional thoughts or feedback, please leave those here in the comments on this blog.

UPDATE:

To help partners quickly generate a bill of materials and pricing for small business solutions, we’ve launched the Cisco Quick Pricing Tool (QPT).

Not only does it sport a nice interface and save time, but QPT helps you build your entire solution with one tool. Visit the QPT tool to identify a tool administrator and request an account.
