Finding Your Way Around Cisco Virtual Partner Summit

- May 23, 2013 - 0 Comments

Cisco Partner Summit is just 10 days away, and if you aren’t attending the live event in Boston, consider this another reminder to register for Cisco Virtual Partner Summit (VPS). You’ll be joining thousands of our partners from all over the world for three lively days of Cisco Partner Summit keynotes, executive chats and breakout sessions on business-critical topics. During Cisco VPS, you’ll also gain access to a range of activities unique to the virtual platform, and a full program designed to maximize your online experience.

Let’s take a few minutes to look at what we have in store for Cisco VPS this year.

As you enter Cisco VPS, you’ll see a range of options and tabs that will allow you not only to watch presentations, but also participate in the social conversation throughout Cisco Partner Summit. You’ll be able to view the live keynote presentations happening from the main stage in Boston (time zone-friendly replays will be available), and also participate in breakout sessions targeting different technology segments, business transformation strategies, and market opportunities specific to geo region presented in local times and languages.

Next, use the Engage area to write on Cisco’s social wall, send Tweets – don’t forget to use hashtag #ciscops13 – read daily recaps and summaries of Cisco partner news and event messaging from the Cisco Channels blog, and watch videos of your fellow partners offering their thoughts on this year’s Cisco Partner Summit takeaways.

Another exciting addition to this year’s Cisco VPS program is VPS Dialogs. This is your opportunity to engage with Cisco executives and thought leaders on Cisco Partner Summit’s most important topics.

These special sessions are designed to tackle the changing needs of your business. Among other topics, you’ll hear actionable insight about how to attain and retain top talent, how to build a small and mid-sized customer practice, and how to accelerate the path to profits with new products and services.

The social conversation is very important to Cisco and its global partner community. Keeping track of social impressions, understanding trends and sentiment, and drawing out key themes keeps us all more connected, keeps the dialogue going about what’s going to drive our businesses forward, and gives us all a unique understanding of customer care-abouts when it comes to Cisco products and services.

With that in mind, make sure you click the Social Snapshot button in the Engage menu. Throughout Cisco VPS, you’ll be able to view real-time social media updates, from live Twitter streams to photos, videos and feedback from your fellow Cisco Partner Summit attendees from around the globe.

Leave a comment below and let us know what you’re most looking forward to about Cisco VPS this year. Remember that you’re as much a part of the action as live attendees in Boston are, and above all, participate, whether in the sessions and VPS dialogs, or our  Cisco Partner Summit 2013 contests. Be in the conversation!
