Congratulations: Julie Hens Named a 2015 CRN Channel Chief

- February 25, 2015 - 0 Comments

In our ongoing series this week, I continue featuring the six Cisco executives named as Channel Chiefs for 2015. These short takes are just a chance for you to get to know these executives a little better. Up now is Julie Hens.

Julie Hens
Julie Hens is a 15 year veteran of Cisco, where she is responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing and operations in her current role of Vice President for the Worldwide Distribution Channel.

Julie was the creator and Executive Sponsor of the Small Business Executive Exchange (SBEE) from 2008 through 2011, a hugely successful Cisco Corporate Advisory Board that worked to grow and evolve the channel model and partner profitability in the U.S. Julie is passionate about leadership and provides mentorship through Cisco’s Executive Shadow program. She is also a member of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and Executives and Advancing Women Executives, LLC.

Julie’s team has helped Cisco Partners grow their mid-market business with the Partner Plus Program. She has helped give partners a place to find distributor-delivered training with Disti Compass, and she has helped Cisco Cloud Services resellers tap into Cisco-powered cloud solutions with the Cisco Cloud Aggregator Program.

Julie has blogged for us on the Partner Blog a few times, and I’m sure there will be more to come. In the meantime, I would like to add that Julie’s favorite movie is also one of mine. “Dances with Wolves” is a beautifully shot film and according to Julie, it really piques her interest in the history and culture of Native Americans. I might have to go back and watch it again now. I haven’t seen Dances with Wolves in years!

If you have any questions for Julie, please share them in the comments section here and I’ll relay them. Join the conversation. We’d love to hear from you.
