Congratulations: Bruce Klein Named a 2015 CRN Channel Chief
It’s obviously no shock, since we’ve been talking about it all week, but Bruce Klein was one of the CRN Channel Chiefs we’re celebrating this week too. Bruce kicked off the week with his blog, but we are giving a few short blogs on each executive this week in order for you to get to know each of them a little better, so here’s a bit on Bruce.
Most of you that read the Cisco Partner blog already know Bruce Klein well, since he posts here often. Most of this won’t come as a surprise to you, but for the rest of us…
Bruce Klein is Senior Vice President of Cisco’s Worldwide Partner Organization, which is responsible for supporting Cisco’s global business with more than 60,000 partners, representing the company’s primary route to market.
Bruce’s team develops the initiatives and program innovations that create capacity to promote Cisco’s growth in existing markets and new areas of opportunity. They also ensure that partners have the right capabilities and skills to meet evolving customer needs, while accelerating market adoption of Cisco products and services.
Bruce has been with Cisco since 2004. His focus recently has been on growing the Cisco Partner Ecosystem, and in building out the programs that support that growth.
Cisco has grown the Cisco Partner Ecosystem by helping new and existing partners capture opportunities related to market transitions, particularly Internet of Everything (IoE). There is tremendous interest from new partner types, like ISVs and software developers. More than 102,000 members have joined the Cisco DevNet community, and ISV recruitment has fueled strong growth as ISVs join with our channel partners to deliver solutions.
Since we’re taking a look at everyone’s favorite movie, Bruce’s favorite film is Rudy. He loves to see the ordinary do extraordinary things through sheer will alone. It’s proof that a never say die attitude can take you to great levels of success.
That’s a brief look at Bruce. If you have questions or comments, let me know via the comments section.Tags:
