Cisco Partner Weekly Rewind – April 17, 2015
Each week, we’ll highlight the most important Cisco Partner Ecosystem news and stories, as well as point you to important, Cisco-related partner content you may have missed along the way. Here’s what you might have missed this week:
Off the Top
In one week, I will head out for Cisco Marketing Velocity 2015 and Cisco Partner Summit 2015. Here at the Cisco Partner Blog, we’ve spent the last few weeks making sure you’re ready for these two huge events. This week is no different, as I brought to you a blog on everything you need to know for the upcoming event. Be sure to check out “Are You Ready for Cisco Marketing Velocity and Partner Summit?” and let me know what you think.
My latest blog adds on to the information that I’ve highlighted these past few weeks and I’ll have one more blog for you next week. That final checklist will serve as one last reminder of all the last minute items you may want to address to be fully up to speed for this year’s events.
Introducing the 2015 Cisco Partner Social Ambassadors
In addition to the logistical information on Partner Summit and Marketing Velocity that was published this week, I also introduced the Cisco Social Ambassadors for the two events.
This is the fourth of year of a program that provides partners with the opportunity to share their thoughts and impressions about the news they hear about during Cisco Partner Summit.
As we continue to evolve the Partner Ambassador program, we have added a few ambassadors this year that are focused on Marketing Velocity and will continue on through Partner Summit as well. We also continue to shape the mix ambassadors with the inclusion of global resellers, distributors, and Independent Software Vendors (ISV) that more closely represent the participants at Partner Summit.
Just like last year, we even have some partner ambassadors who won’t be onsite in Montreal, but will be joining us via Virtual Partner Summit (VPS).
Exploring Virtual Partner Summit
Even though it was from last week, if you missed my post on exploring Cisco Virtual Partner Summit (VPS) be sure to check it out, especially if you won’t be onsite in Montreal. VPS is the perfect way to keep up with what’s going on throughout the week, even if you are not physically there.
My VPS preview blog provides screenshots and a quick walkthrough of what you can do in VPS, and what you can expect to see, along with guiding you to registration for VPS.
