February 27, 2011 - 1 Comment

Well, the time has come—Partner Summit 2011 gets underway tomorrow in New Orleans, and it’s sure to be a fun and informative week. For those of you attending virtually, be sure to visit the Virtual Partner Summit registration page to sign up (it’s free). The virtual event runs March 1 through March 3.

We have lots in store at the event—everything from breakout sessions to live executive chats to keynote sessions. I got the chance to chat with keynote speaker Dr. James Canton. Dr. Canton is global futurist, social scientist, and author whose research is focused on future trends in innovation.

Dr. Canton gave me a sneak peek into what he’ll be discussing at Partner Summit—here’s what he had to say.

Want to learn more about what’s going on this week, and how you can get involved?

In addition to keynote speakers such as Cisco CEO John Chambers and Senior Vice President Edison Peres, we’ll also have numerous breakout sessions that can help you transform your business and leadership practice, as well as theater breakouts.

And here’s some tips on how to get involved:

* Follow the #ciscops11 hash tag on Twitter so you don’t miss any of the news or discussions taking place.
* Register for Virtual Partner Summit if you’ll be attending online.
