What Went on at Cisco Live Today? Check it Out!

The excitement continues as day 2 of Cisco Live was all about the cloud and collaboration! Padmasree Warrior kicked off the day with her keynote focusing on cloud computing and gave a demo. Check out a replay of her keynote via UStream and her executive Q&A session.

Cisco also made two more announcements today. Cisco announced the availability of the Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution that allows partners to provide a wide range of Cisco collaboration applications to their customers, via the cloud, using an “as a service” model. The Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution, which builds on existing hosted Cisco Unified Communications offerings, provides customers with flexibility in choosing how they deploy collaboration applications throughout their organizations.

Cisco FabricPath, a networking technology that dramatically increases network scalability, resource agility, asset efficiency, and performance in the data center was introduced as well as new enhancements to different data switching platforms and Cisco services. These new technologies support Cisco’s Data Center 3.0 strategy to help customers have increased flexibility of their data centers as they become more virtualized and cloud based.  Watch a replay of the press conference that goes into further detail on the two announcements.

Make sure to tune in tomorrow to hear author Ben Mezrich guest keynote live via UStream and follow our Cisco Systems twitter handle for live tweeting during the keynote!

And finally, Greg Justice, “The World’s Most Interesting Intern” is filming his second rap video today in Vegas! Stay tuned for his sophomore effort posting tomorrow
