Introducing Winner of the Perfect Pitch!

March 30, 2011 - 4 Comments

Earlier this week at Cisco Live, Cisco announced the winner of the 2011 Perfect Pitch competition which kicked off late last year in Australia and New Zealand.

Perfect Pitch is a competition whereby commercial reseller partners in Australia and New Zealand, with support from their Cisco partner account manager, create the “perfect pitch”. The pitches were then judged on the basis of how realistically the business-focused pitch articulated one of three architectures to a C-Level executive.

Samantha Best from Data#3 was judged the winner.  Samantha receives a trip to her choice of Paris, Africa or Hawaii to the value of AUD$10,000.   Samantha was coached by Cisco Territory Business Manager Matthew Toscano.

Here’s a short interview with Samantha after the finalist gala dinner at Cisco Live this past Tuesday.

Samantha’s win comes after four months of competition in which 170 Cisco partners registered to participate from which 20 semi-finalists were chosen and then nine finalists.

In recognition of the high quality of entries within the competition, Cisco has also awarded prizes of an iPad2 to second placed Imogene Lomax of Gen-i  and third placed Michelle Neil of Dimension Data.
