As Cisco celebrates our 25th year, Cisco Fellow Kirk Lougheed (one of five Stanford employees who left to start the company) talks about the early years…beginning in 1984. 

– “The manufacturing facility was the living room…”

– Early involvement of Sequoia Capital and Don Valentine’s involvement.

– Former Chairman and CEO John Morgridge (who I learned was actually the third CEO of Cisco)
