Cisco Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of SXSW

August 20, 2010 - 2 Comments

Cisco is proud to announce our participation at the 25th Anniversary of the original South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festival taking place March 11-20, 2011 in Austin, Texas.

Featuring panels hosted by some of the brightest minds in the Interactive, Film and Music industries, this unique annual event showcases new media and emerging technologies through creative presentations, hundreds of musical acts and film screenings.

As new media is changing the way we live, work, and play, Cisco continues to develop new consumer media solution platforms and emerging video technologies that are helping to shape our future multimedia experiences – at home, at work and on-the-go.

We’ve submitted several panel proposals that include participants from Cisco and from various parts of the industry, for your consideration. Similar to our practice of encouraging online collaboration, the SXSW organizers enable you to vote and comment on the short-listed proposals — by using their PanelPicker application.

View the following personal invitations from Cisco’s Dan Scheinman, SVP/GM of Consumer Media Solutions Group and Doug Webster, Director of Strategic Communications for Service Provider Marketing to learn more about Cisco’s planned participation at SXSW.
