January 20, 2011 - 10 Comments

This morning, FORTUNE magazine released its annual “100 Best Companies to Work For” list, and we are proud to announce that Cisco was awarded the No. 20 spot on the overall list, and No. 5 in the large companies category.

In addition, we are honored and humbled to be on the “All-Stars” list, which features companies that have been on the FORTUNE “Best Companies” list every year since its inception in 1998.

A big congratulations goes out to all who were named to this list. To see the full list and articles, please take a look at Fortune’s website.

  1. I was a bit surprised to see at #6. I love their business model and I am sure they deserve the ranking.

  2. I am proud to start this year and study CCNP2 Security in cenverged WAN, unfortunatelly my enthusiasem in the past was never emulated or supported by the past “Instructors”. I have been enrroled this time to a local cisco academy, and once a week I have to travel about 25-30 miles for 3 hours labs. I was wondering if access to this labs could be available remotely as well as going to cisco academy every monday for three hours.

  3. Not surprising for Cisco, I guess.

  4. I think it’s great when any company can be named one of the best companies to work for, not to mention one of the best 100 companies. And to be #5 on the Large Companies List is a great testiment to the great work environment at Cisco.

  5. Wow, love the list of the 100 best companies. Thanks!

  6. Congrats Cisco! I’m so jealous that you guys don’t have an office here in Orange County, CA. We have great talent here and we could use the jobs!

  7. Thanks CISCO. Congratulations to my CISCO family.

  8. thanks for energetic post

  9. This makes me wish that I had the skill set to work for a company like Cisco. I am a fairly talented software engineer, but my background doesn’t include anything as demanding as the hardware and software products Cisco makes.

  10. I am elated to hear this. CISCO is one of the larger companies that I really admire. Although this one small fact does not influence my admiration, I do take a certain pleasure in telling people who ask me to spell me last name, that it is the same as the CEO of CISCO! LOL.

    Congratulations all!
