A View of Retail after the National Retail Federation Big Show

January 26, 2011 - 1 Comment

Cisco’s Retail Industry Marketing team just completed the National Retail Federation Show and it was a great event.  The show was very successful for Cisco with two days of “standing room only” in our booth.   We had Big Idea sessions on several topics including our new primary research survey on “Mashops” and how consumers utilize technology as part of the shopping experience, the updated Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards and others.  Watch my video below to see what I predict will be the big retail trend in 2011.

You can find more videos from NRF 2011 on our NRF 2011 Playlist on YouTube where you will see interviews with Cisco executives and partners plus demonstrations from the booth.

Our next big project  will be the PCI solution for retail designed to help retailers become compliant with the new PCI standard before the deadline at the end of 2011.  For more information on our efforts in the area of PCI compliance, please Click Here.

Thank you,

Lindsay Parker
