Cisco Live UK: Day 3, Part 1

February 1, 2012 - 0 Comments

Day 3 at Cisco Live UK is underway!

One thing we truly appreciate about Cisco Live UK is the global nature of our attendees. Not only do we get to see our eclectic, enthusiatic, and worldly customers, but also we get to see our Cisco counterparts from all over the globe.

Take for example Ahmed Farrag. Ahmed is the Director of Business Development for Emerging Solutions Ecosystems, and he is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We first met Ahmed at Cisco Live US last year. This year, he was very impressed with the customer presence from Emerging Markets, the Middle East, and EMEAR (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia):

We can often forget how large and global Cisco really is. We have over 63,000 employees in over 460 offices worldwide with a presence in over 165 countries. Considering that there are 196 countries in the world, the fact that we have a presence in  over 84% of them is quite impressive!

Also, the fact that we create and deliver the technologies and solutions that allow people and businesses to bridge those continental gaps makes it all the more exciting.

Be sure to tweet to us your international experiences at Cisco Live UK with the hashtag: #CLEUR

2012 Olympics

Being here in London has also whet our appetite for the Olympics. For those who don’t know, Cisco is the dedicated network infrastructure provider of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We’re extremely excited, and we’ll tell you more about that later!
