The Connected Learning Exchange – Join Us For the Journey

March 7, 2011 - 0 Comments

We hear a lot about the issues and challenges in Education.  Unfortunately, we don’t hear enough of the success that dedicated and innovative educators are having integrating technology into curricula to create 21st Century learning environments that are improving educational outcomes for students all over the world.

At Cisco, we’re honored to work with such educators each and every day. Through programs and events such as the Cisco Virtual Forum for Education Leaders, we try to showcase innovative and practical solutions for meeting today’s education challenges. More importantly, we try to create opportunities for educators to collaborate so that best practices can be shared and replicated.

We’ve been impressed with how educators are creating Professional Learning Communities to connect, collaborate and advance their practice.  It is in this spirit that we are introducing the Connected Learning Exchange (CLX),  to provide an online platform for educators from schools, colleges and universities to share best practices and practical solutions that can dramatically improve education everywhere.

We welcome your participation and hope the CLX Communityu will create new opportunities to interact and share information and resources with like minded colleagues from around the world.  We are particulary interested in offering the CLX as a platform for educators to create or participate in a wide variety of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) or Communities of Practice that span curriculum, education technology and instructional pedagogies.

Please join us on the CLX Community as we begin this journey to foster collaboration and showcase innovative and practical strategies to help ensure that all learners reach their full potential.
