Cisco at VMworld: Speaking Sessions, Demos, and More

Warm up with a Tweetchat on the Cisco UCS Advantage with experts Josh Atwell, Scott Hanson, and M. Sean Mcgee. Follow #CLUS on August 15 starting at 10 AM PST.

Speaking of UCS, we’ll be featuring the #UCSChallenge in Booth 1213 again this year! What happens when you mix technologists and life-size foam UCS puzzle pieces?

Come out and take the challenge!  Watch and see:

But wait, there’s more! We’re featuring not one but two Roving Reporters. You may remember Josh Atwell from his coverage at Cisco Live! He’ll be covering the beat again, including attempting to LiveTweet from his own session (VSP-1856). A sys admin here at Cisco, Josh is very involved in the tech community, from leading UCS UG’s in the Carolinas to being named a vExpert this year.

New to the Roving Reporter team but seasoned in all things Cisco is Scott Hanson (@CiscoServerGeek and, SE here at Cisco. Scott is a Senior Consulting Systems Engineer at Cisco focusing on Cisco UCS and Cisco Datacenter technologies.
He has 19+ years of x86 server experience with careers at IBM and Dell before joining Cisco. He will be LiveTweeting a number of sessions, along with taking great photos of the action. He is in fact making the world a better place by geeking it out.

Follow along at #ciscovmw and on their blogs and youtube as they interview and post clips from the show. They’ll cover the hallway track for everyone within Moscone and beyond!

Tuesday, August 28, 9-11 pm: #vBacon tweetup — Back by popular demand, join Cisco at this one-of-a-kind meet and greet to connect with your fellow VMworld attendees.
