June 6, 2012 - 0 Comments

Cisco Live 2012 is almost here. Hello San Diego! Time to make the difficult decision regarding partitioning luggage space between  tech and clothes. The informal Twitter poll indicates tech is winning. Don’t forget the chargers, because there’s a lot going on.

Bacon and Waffles Tweetup on Tuesday!

Now that I’ve got your full attention, here’s a rundown of some of the social media activities happening at Cisco Live this year.

They provide great opportunities to connect with your peers and put a face to the Twitter handle. Be sure to follow @ciscoDC for ongoing updates, photos, and news from the floor. If you haven’t updated your Cisco Live registration to include your Twitter handle, do so today, and it will be printed on your badge for easy reference!

  • Roving reporter. Bringing you all the news from the hallway track, this technologist-eye view will be delivered by our very own Josh Atwell. A sys admin here at Cisco, Josh is very involved in the tech community, from leading UCS UG’s in the Carolinas to being named a vExpert this year.
  • Photo caption challenges. Keep your eyes on the Twitter feed (#CLUS and @ciscoDC) for photos from the show. Some will be obvious, some will be more of a challenge. We’ll be collecting them on the DCV Facebook page. Like us to see them all after the show.
