You might remember back in August, I wrote another blog sharing our excitement when we received industry recognition for our Webex portfolio from PC Magazine and CRN. Now I’m excited to share more great news with you!
Cisco Webex Collaboration has been honored with multiple awards recently. It has been an awesome year for Collaboration Marketing, and I’m proud to share that the industry has taken notice. Below is a snapshot of the awards and why we won.
Brandweek is part of Adweek, a highly influential publication that has been focusing on and reviewing advertising and campaigns for more than four decades. Brandweek celebrates the power of marketing teams and the Brandweek Constellation Awards “honor the very best team-led marketing efforts across 32 categories. Just as stars gather in the sky in brilliant celestial formations, so too do teams of marketers for their stellar brand activations.” Nice.
We love that we have been honored as a TEAM-led marketing effort. Specifically, we are this year’s winner of the Scientia/Arte Data Driven and Creative Marketing TEAM award/Brand Campaign for our Webexceptional and Work smarter with Webex campaigns.
The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) is an international association of thousands of creative professionals and sponsors the Hermes Creative Awards to recognize excellence in creative communications. The judging is done by panel of independent judges and is inclusive of small creative shops as well as larger ones.
We’re honored that our brand campaign for Webexceptional and Work Smarter with Webex was selected as a Platinum Winner in the competition!
The AMCP also sponsors the MarCom Awards to recognize excellence in marketing and communications.
We also were awarded a Platinum Award for the Webexceptional and Work smarter with Webex components of our brand campaign.
The Killer Content Award
Finally, we’ve received word that we are finalists for the B2B Marketing Killer Content Award for Measurable ROI and Video Content. How cool is that? This is an organization whose members seek to “look at their business, their marketing tactics and their customers through a new lens… embracing new rules of engagement and transforming them into cutting-edge campaigns that utilize new storytelling methods and new amplification channels.” Of course, it would be an honor to win here too, but it’s also such a triumph to hang out with these types of minds. Whether they belong to fresh new startups, or work inside larger organizations, these people represent that incoming tide – the future of work and of business communication.
These four industry nods are very special to us. People who work in advertising and marketing know all about people. They understand what motivates us and attracts us. They not only look for creative and artistic messages – they look for things that connect directly to people – their feelings and their aspirations and their desire for belonging.
To me nothing could be better than to have our products and solutions recognized in this way. We’re all about building bridges between people, and when our peers on the marketing communication side recognize this, we know we have connected in a great way.
I could not be prouder of my collaboration marketing team for all their hard work to bring to life the Webexceptional and Work smarter with Webex campaigns for FY19 in multiple geographies with localized messaging. From brand to demand, they are doing amazing work. I wouldn’t be surprised if they win even more awards in the future!
