Best of TechWiseTV 2010 – Vote Now!

December 16, 2010 - 0 Comments

Ok, now is the time to get your votes in…three top notch shows have been elevated as nominee’s for our ‘Best of 2010’ on TechWiseTV.  What is your favorite? Leave your preference in the comments.

You can watch them instantly in their entirety if you are one of the few that missed any – I have included one preview here, the rest are after the jump along with a few personal observations.

CiscoLive dominated here with two shows taped in Las Vegas.  The ‘Master Cisco Network Devices’ was jam packed with tech tips and we were so excited by the guests and friends we made on that one that we split every segment into two and doubled the amount of ‘stuff’ covered within the same one hour as normal. Lots of hijinks through-out this one as well.  In fact…we will be at CiscoLive in London this February – are you going?   As far as I can tell right now, our next CiscoLive trip after that will be the big show in Vegas.  Let us know in the comments if you remember seeing us there – we shook so many hands I always fear we miss something.

You can see the shownotes for ‘Master Cisco Network Devices’ here. A quick glance at the segments we covered:

Segment 1: Fundamentals of Embedded Management

Segment 2: Creating a Custom Interface for IOS

Segment 3: Simplify License Installation on your ISR

Segment 4: Three Must Have Tools

Segment 5: Embedded Security. Mitigating the Downside

Segment 6: Routing with IPSLA

Segment 7: DHCP pool usage via SNMP made EASY

Segment 8: The Final Word

Another fun show we did from CiscoLive this year worth your vote?

Data Center Interconnect Made Simple

You can read the shownotes for much more detail..or better yet, just go watch the show.  The keynote item of interest on this one was Cisco FabricPath.

Our final nominee for your voting today is a Collaboration episode….

SIP, Session Management and Beyond

In my mind, there is a lot of prophecy in this one.  The slow demise of the PSTN, the need for a secure intelligence infrastructure that will allow us to collaborate in a rich media fashion ‘outside’ of company walls…its all coming…because the technology is here.  Session Manager, Border Controller, the Protocol itself…  If you love anything about voice, video or collaboration – call it what you want – this show may bubble to the top of your list.

The shownotes are here.
