As IT Manager within the Cisco on Cisco group, Shaun Sweeney is responsible for sharing the Cisco IT experience and showcasing how we use our own technologies and solutions to realize business outcomes. Under Sweeney’s leadership, his team creates a variety of Cisco IT content and events that inform and inspire customers, partners, and the Cisco Sales organization. Sweeney regularly engages with account teams and customers, sharing IT best practices and lessons learned on current topics such as cloud computing, hosted services, and mobility for the enterprise.

Sweeney joined Cisco in 2000, and has experience throughout IT including relationship management, infrastructure project management, managed service delivery, vendor management, and internal support operations.

Prior to Cisco, Sweeney spent five years in the financial services industry, focusing on bond brokerage, equity trading and electricity marketing. His initial corporate experience included advertising and sports marketing.

Sweeney has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Providence College.
