Ron Lewis is a senior product manager at Cisco working in the Collaboration Infrastructure Business Unit with focus on TelePresence products. Starting in 2010 he has direct product management responsibility for individual Cisco TelePresence conferencing and management products with focus on making TelePresence easy to use and a great experience for connecting people.

Ron has been with Cisco since 2001 where he joined as a product sales specialist introducing Unified Communications to customers as a new technology.

In 2004 he joined the development organization as a product manager bringing to market Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CME) and expanding the Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) feature set that is part of Cisco IOS based routers.

Prior to Cisco, Ron was a key individual at Active Voice corporation, the largest PC based voice mail manufacture, prior to the Cisco acquisition in 2001. At Active Voice Ron held different positions including sales and direct management of the customer service/ TAC organization contributing to the rapid growth.

Ron has been involved with the design, installation, support, and selling of telephony, computers and networks products since 1983.

For fun, he likes to race sailboats on San Francisco bay, hike, and play a bit of golf.
