Marcelo Oliveira

Marcelo Oliveira heads product management and product marketing for Cloud Video as a Service Solutions in Cisco’s Collaboration Technology Group.  In this role, he leads the product, solution, and partnership strategy to promote cloud managed services as an accelerator for Telepresence and Unified Collaboration adoption.   Marcelo’s responsibilities include consulting and business development engagements with global service providers to help build successful video collaboration service offers.

Marcelo joined Cisco in 2006 where he spearheaded the creation of the industry’s first video service creation platform (Cisco TelePresence Exchange System), helping move Cisco to a top spot in the cloud collaboration market with the TPaaS and HCS solutions. He has also driven many of the company’s market events, product launches, and go-to-market programs.

Prior to Cisco, Marcelo spent nearly six years in the unified collaboration market driving innovation, technology disruption, and industry thought leadership in Fortune 500 companies. A graduate of the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, Marcelo holds degrees in Business and Electrical Engineering. He started his career at Siemens Communications while still living in Brazil.
