Leigh Jewell

Leigh Jewell has over 20 years of experience as an IT professional and currently an Architect for Cisco I.T. Leigh joined Cisco in 2001 as a Network Engineer, providing operational support across Cisco’s internal network.

In 2008, he moved into the Network Design team to produce designs such as the Campus Core and IP Security. He has been working on Cisco’s global wireless network as the lead Architect for the last 5 years and is currently working on deploying Software Defined Access.

Leigh participates regularly as a Cisco on Cisco speaker, sharing his experience and knowledge deploying large-scale enterprise wireless networks with Cisco customers.

Leigh holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Charles Darwin University, a Graduate Certificate in Data Science from UTS and a Master’s in Data Science from University of Sydney.

He has achieved two distinguished speaker awards from Cisco Live in 2017 and 2019.
