Gautam Chanda is a Product Manager at Sclable Network Business Unit at Cisco for Cisco Catalyst Series Switch 6500. He has over 20 years of experience in Networking industry in various technical and business roles. Before Cisco, he worked in various business and technical roles at Sun/Oracle, Start Ups such as Accordion Networks, Mayan Networks & Nayna Networks, also at 3Com and Intel Corp. Mr. Chanda has successfully driven many products from Conception to Product Requirements, to Engineering Execution, Product Launch and customer engagements and also being technology evangelist to the customers and the Field . Mr. Chanda has participated in various industry events in various roles such as panelist and as a speaker: most recently in New Orleans at SuperComm 2010 in November, 2010 together with Ethernet Alliance. Mr Chanda has B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and has various white papers and publications to his name.
