Frank D’Agostino is a recognized expert in SDN, virtualization, and cloud whose track record for business outcomes includes acquisitions of Nicira Networks for $1.2B by VMware and Insieme Networks for $863M by Cisco Systems.

As Senior Director at Cisco Systems, Frank leads business development, technical marketing, and production management for Application Centric Infrastructure, SDN, InterCloud Fabric, and Nexus 9000/3000.

As Vice President of WW Technical Operations at Nicira Networks, Frank built the industry’s first SDN technical organization, with responsibilities including technical go to market and customer engagements.

Frank has over 30 years of experience building and leading teams in the web, cloud, and information technology industries with direct experience leading data center operations and infrastructure for industries in healthcare, financial, & energy.

Frank founded the professional services organization and developed all services products and contracts for implementation and operations services for Anixter Inc., driving services over a wide variety of technology partners and infrastructure providers.

As a global executive, Frank focuses on results – timing what is relevant with market demand, resulting in billions of dollars in revenue.

He holds a CCIE 3461 in Emeritus.
