UCS + Vsphere = Win for Customers (and Channel Partners)

Cisco differentiates itself and drives unique customer value in its collaborative approach with its partners, channel and ecosystem. Case in point…at today’s Cisco Partner Summit in San Francisco, we unveiled a channel partner initiative that expands the Cisco-VMware relationship under our open partner ecosystem strategy to address customer needs on their journey to building private clouds. Together, the integrated Cisco Unified Computing System and VMware vSphere solution is designed to reduce data center complexity, lower costs and enable a more flexible, agile IT service delivery model.

So what does this mean for our mutual channel partners? Cisco data center specialized and authorized to resell VMware solutions, will have access to new benefits, including solutions training, solution bundles, financial incentives, funding for virtualization assessments, online demo labs, market enablement and financing.  A more empowerd channel translates into a successful partner for our data center/virtualization customers.
