Greg Pelton is Sr. Director of the Technology Center within Cisco’s Corporate Business Development organization. The Technology Center is an innovation engine, driving corporate initiatives, incubating disruptive technologies and developing strategies to enter new markets.

Greg is a ten-year Cisco veteran and has helped launch numerous new businesses including IP Telephony, Wireless, Mobile Networking, IPTV, Home Networking and Telepresence. His current efforts focus on enabling new vertical markets for networking and next generation collaboration services. He holds 5 patents and has filed a dozen more.

Prior to Cisco, Greg held leadership roles at Nortel where he helped create Nortel’s first international digital telephony switch, their first SS7 network products and built an R&D lab in Germany as part of a joint venture with Daimler-Benz.

Christian Renaud is the Chief Architect of Networked Virtual Environments for the Cisco Technology Center. Technology Center acts as 'intrapreneurs' for the efforts of Cisco’s Corporate Development organization, providing business rationale and market insight for determining future Cisco emerging technologies. The Technology Center is Cisco’s corporate incubator chartered with identifying emerging markets and technologies and developing them into new revenue streams for the company.

As a new media program manager at Cisco, Dannette Veale lives and breathes new media. In addition to producing virtual environment events, Dannette also manages global online programs for a variety of Cisco groups—most notably emerging markets. When she's not traveling the (real) world as Cisco's unofficial Second Life ambassador, you'll find Dannette engaged in such varied hobbies as producing streaming media, designing Web sites, or watching classic films such as Blade Runner. Outside of her daily immersion in the bleeding edge of collaborative media, Dannette's also been known partake in such real world activities as gardening, baking, and knitting—while watching cyberpunk anime, of course.
