  2. Granted, as an engineer specializing in evangelizing TelePresence I’m a bit biased, but… ;-)

Cisco really does have a better understanding of the importance of the user experience than any other manufacturer in the market today. Everyone else is still leading with legacy-based endpoints, while Cisco leads with infrastructure. There is a common question I hear from clients, and it is “Why should we look at the infrastructure before the endpoints?”

The answer is simple. Cisco’s TelePresence infrastructure is what enables the ease of use and advanced functionality. We demonstrate the endpoints, but when clients see what the endpoints can DO with the infrastructure in place they begin to understand how Cisco enables pervasive video.

The best in class endpoints are the icing on the cake, and next-generation devices such as Cius will be game changers.

Here’s looking forward to the next 5 years!
