Today, Cisco announced a new strategy for capturing, transforming and sharing video called Enterprise Video Content. As a part of this announcement, we have new product features across our entire enterprise video portfolio that enable customers to watch any video from any device, at any time. New capabilities and complete integration across Cisco Show and Share, Cisco MXE 3500, and Cisco TelePresence Content Server improve how end users can create and consume video, by:
- Simplifying how end users can capture video from any telepresence or videoconferencing endpoint, record and then auto-publish or live stream that video into Show and Share
- Enabling any end user to transform video – adapting any kind of media, including recorded video meetings and Cisco WebEx recordings, so they can be played and shared on any device
- Enhancing how users can easily search video and navigate to find the most relevant video content
- Accelerating live and on-demand video delivery across the enterprise to branch offices and remote users
In the video below, I introduce what Cisco means by Enterprise Video Content and how it is changing video applications across the enterprise.
