Get Revved Up for Partner Velocity

Barcelona is a great city—with its fantastic Basque food, gorgeous beachside location, and beautiful architecture courtesy of famed architect Antonio Gaudi, this Spanish city can’t be beat.

Next week, Barcelona will play host to partners from around the world who will be convening there to attend Partner Velocity, our annual event focused on giving our partners the insight, knowledge, and networking they need to accelerate their marketing.

This year, we’ll be providing our partners with access to the inside scoop on the latest social media and web 2.0 marketing trends. We’ll also have two sessions on marketing the cloud.

Recap of Broadcast on Partner Profitability with Dave O’Callaghan

Yesterday, we hosted a live video broadcast via Ustream with VP of Worldwide Commercial Sales Dave O’Callaghan—during our half-hour talk, we discussed everything from Fast Track 2 (our new Commercial sales program), to our partner-led sales strategy in Commercial sales, to what we think Dave’s new nickname should be. Giving Thanks to Cisco Partners…with a List of Great Resources

It’s Thanksgiving time in United States—on this holiday, we remember the things for which we are grateful, while also digging in to a hearty meal of roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and lots of side dishes (or just nosh on the side dishes, like me—I’m vegetarian.)

I’m sure many would give thanks for a warm house, family, friends, our health, a job. Of course, at Cisco, we also give thanks for the many people who support what we do every day. And that goes especially to you, our partners: Thank you for your continued commitment to Cisco.

So while I take a few days off to give thanks and enjoy a meal with my family and friends, I wanted to share a few tools and sites that will help you navigate Cisco’s offerings for partners.

While the list is long, we want to be sure that you know that there are multiple sources of information to help you in your everyday work with Cisco. And don’t worry, you won’t be tested.

Join a Live Video Broadcast on Partner Profitability

As a Cisco partner, being profitable is most certainly your number-one priority.

And the new Vice President of Cisco’s Worldwide Commercial Segment Dave O’Callaghan gets it. Dave previously served as Vice President of Worldwide Distribution driving Cisco’s distribution strategy. In his new role, he’ll be responsible for sales, strategy and programs for the mid-size and small markets. (And driving partners’ profits!)
