V6 World Congress – March 2014 – A Premier IPv6 Event for the Communications Industry

Few days ago, the Networking Industry “who’s who” gathered in Paris for the fourth edition of v6 World Congress http://www.uppersideconferences.com/v6world2014/v6world2014introduction.html. I’m very proud that Cisco has been sponsoring and supporting this IPv6 Conference since its inception. It is always a very special feeling to have so many industry leaders visiting my hometown.  This event has become a milestone in the global deployment of IPv6. Paris is the place to be in March each year, if you want to get a status update of IPv6 transition, one of the most important technology transition the Internet have ever gone through.

ASR 9000 Family earns IPv6 Certifications!

The Global Certification Team is proud to announce that the Cisco Aggregate Services Routers (ASR) 9000 series have completed USGv6 Certification on software version 4.2.1 or later, with USGv6 SMU.  The details of the certification can be found at https://www.iol.unh.edu/services/testing/ipv6/usgv6tested.php?company=7&type=Router.

The Cisco ASR 9000 system incorporates innovative technologies such as Cisco Network Virtualization (nV) technology, which intelligently blends the edge, aggregation, and access points to simplify operation and accelerate IPv6 services. Catalyst 3560 and 3750 achieve USGv6 and Ready Logo Certifications!

The Global Certification Team is proud to announce that the Cisco Catalyst 3560 and 3750 have earned USGv6 and Ready Logo certifications!  Specifically, the Catalyst 3560C, 3560X, 3560E, 3560V2 and the Catalyst 3750X, 3750E, 3750V2 were certified on IOS 15.0(2)SE or later.  The details of the individual certifications can be found below:

Cisco Catalyst 4500-X earns USGv6 and Ready Logo Certifications!

The Global Certification Team is proud to announce that the Cisco Catalyst 4500-X has earned USGv6 and Ready Logo certifications!  The 4500-X was certified on IOS XE version 15.1(1)SG.  The details of the individual certifications can be found below:

Catalyst 6500 with Sup2T achieves IPv6 Certifications!
