A Note to Channels Blog Readers: Improvements on the Way

A note to our valued Channels blog readers: Cisco blogs will undergo a little maintenance over the next few days.

While all blog content will be accessible during this time, some behind-the-scenes stuff will be happening meaning we won’t be able to post anything new.

What does this mean for you?

No dust or dirt that usually comes along with construction work, luckily. We will back back on Monday, October 4 with some great improvements. (Of course, please continue to post your comments this week and we’ll moderate them as soon as possible once the maintenance is complete.)

In the meantime, we will be posting fresh news and info on our CiscoChannels Facebook page (including a new Partner Update newscast where we recap the latest Cisco partner news in less than five minutes).

We’ll also continue posting updates on the @CiscoChannels Twitter account — be sure to follow us so you don’t miss a thing.

Together: The Evolution of Cisco’s Brand Campaign

Cisco’s “Welcome to the human network” brand campaign has been around since 2006. Today, we’ve launched an evolution to the brand with a new slogan, “Together we are the human network.” Although a subtle variation in wording, the message is impactful.  If you think about how people around the world are looking for and moving toward more authentic human interactions, video plays a significant role in bringing these human connections together. To emphasize the importance of this cultural shift, Cisco is evolving its brand campaign to express a broader, more human vision of what the network can offer—a richer, deeper experience of being together. Here’s the first of a series of new TV ads you can expect to see as part of the new brand campaign.

Announcing Our New, Updated Brand Campaign

We’ve had a lot going on lately: The launch of our new Facebook page, our new Partner Update broadcasts, and our ongoing contest to win an iTouch for using My Cisco. All of these vehicles are part of our ongoing efforts to communicate with you, our partners, in an effective and meaningful way.
