Welcome Aboard San Jose State University!

Located a mere 10 miles away from Cisco’s headquarters, San Jose State is the newest university to turn to Cisco WebEx. The school will be using the tool as a way to improve their effectiveness and collaboration between their facility and staff via online meetings.

Can you think of three ways you can improve collaboration within a university? We did! This is what we came up with:

  1. Collaborate as a group online even at times when group members can’t meet in person
  2. Review lecture notes with colleagues before or after class
  3. Attend a lecture from a remote location

Cisco Partner Communities: Get Sales Support, Tech Support, and Info You Need

Every day, more partners are flocking to the Cisco Partner Communities. Why? Well, the communities are staffed with knowledgeable and friendly Cisco community managers who can help answer your most challenging technology questions, give you details on Cisco programs, and keep you informed.

Yep. The information you need is right there for the taking. If that’s not enough, you can visit the extensive documents library to download the information or presentation you need.

We’ve also cleaned up things a bit, too. If you haven’t visited the communities yet, or haven’t been by in awhile, we’ve made it easier to navigate, been straightening up and streamlining over the past few months, based on feedback from partner users.

The Lone Admin and The Cisco Technical Support iPad App

It was a evening like any other.  The Lone Admin walks into a his local watering hole to relax after a full day of battling issues and keeping his company’s network safe and secure.  He is known somewhat as a miracle worker, a conundrum wrapped in an enigma.  Even against the most sinister of network issues he is able to stand his ground and find resolution all by himself.  How does he do it?  None of his peers know.
