Wrapping up Cisco Live 2014

Wow! It’s been a big, big week. This was my first Cisco Live and it did not disappoint. With more than 25,000 attendees on site, I have never been involved in such a huge customer event. I am always excited to interact with our customers and partners, and there were so many folks to talk to at this event it was almost overwhelming! Still, we whittled it down to a few folks that can give you an idea of why they make the investment to attend Cisco Live. Take a look at this video to see what some of our partners had to say.

Again, what an event! Here’s a quick wrap up of the last two days of Cisco Live 2014. Read More »

Today’s threat landscape is more dynamic than ever before. Given the rapid changes in the world around us, driven by mobility, cloud computing, and the Internet of Everything (IoE), the number and type of attacks will continue to increase. Defenders need threat-centric security solutions to better address the full attack continuum – before, during, and after an attack

Today at CiscoLive! San Francisco there were several announcements, including the intent to acquire ThreatGRID and significant product enhancements, aimed at strengthening Cisco’s advanced threat protection, giving Cisco partners increased opportunities.

ThreatGRID

ThreatGRID is an advanced dynamic malware analysis and threat intelligence Technology Company that enables organizations to accurately identify and defend against cyber attacks in real time. The acquisition of ThreatGRID is a natural extension of Cisco’s advanced threat protection offering. Away by the Bay at Cisco Live!

Wow! It’s been a whirlwind beginning to Cisco Live 2014. I’ve already met many partners and customers and we’re only about halfway through the week! Folks are excited to be part of such a huge event here in San Francisco.  In fact, check out this shot of folks streaming into the room for John Chambers’ keynote address yesterday.

Crowd ShotBefore John even took the stage, we’d already spent a lot of time talking with customers and partners about the new Solution Partner Program. This key piece of the Cisco Partner Ecosystem used to be known as the Cisco Developer Network (CDN). Arjun Lahiri, Senior Manager, Cloud and Ecosystem Strategy and Programs Group, took some time to really explain how CDN evolved into the Solution Partner Program and why those changes have occurred and how they affect partners. Be sure to read Arjun’s blog and get up to speed on the latest on the Solution Partner Program here at Cisco Live 2014. Read More »

With Cisco ACI, you can have all this – and more.

Find out how by joining Soni Jiandani, SVP Insieme Business Group, Rob Soderbery, SVP/GM Enterprise Networking Group, and Scott Clark, VP of Cisco Services, as they provide an overview on Cisco’s ACI strategy, roadmap and solutions.
