Great interview.  Very informative. P2P is the future.  I spoke about this at the Streaming Media West panel that I was presenting on.  Congestion and cost reduction is the key to their business model.

It is not the broadcasting which makes video sharing fly but the personality. Though back-end (direct or indirect) payment model is prevailing these days, the game has yet reached its finale.

Managed (access) networks, as pointed out by you, are absolutely needed. All these network vendors, however, have done so little to help their respective customers in telecom industry. People talks about topology-aware P2P for years now. Should something be done now?

We can continue dream about QoS if we only care our own interests.
