Clearwire to Launch WiMAX Innovation Network to Silicon Valley Developers


The WiMAX Innovation Network will initially cover more than 20 square miles in Silicon Valley and bring 4G wireless service to campuses of some of the world’s leading technology innovators.

That’s a great idea and it works pretty good here in Moscow. Almost half a year is was free in the test mode. Scartel (Yota) is the biggest WiMax Network in the world (http://www.yota.ru/en) I think all campuses have to be covered free of charge.

Norman Selva, for sure there is partially Cisco equipment. If you interested in the deployment of the WiMax network you have to really think of fiver optical back bone that can provide a decent bandwidth between Base Stations otherwise once you will be same amount of customers like Yota you are going to be in serious trouble. So, choose your respective country and sit down either you are really to be in that or just curious ...
