Cisco Recognized as Outstanding AT&T Supplier

As you may have recently read in the Wall Street Journal, Cisco was honored to have been recognized as a 2009 AT&T Supplier Award winner for outstanding performance and service to AT&T Business Solutions during the past year. We look at this as a big deal since AT&T selected only six suppliers from more than 5,000 in the AT&T supply chain. It’s an even bigger deal for us in that it’s the sixth consecutive year Cisco or the former Scientific-Atlanta have won an AT&T Supplier Award, which proves to us that our efforts to achieve high marks with such a prominent customer are continuing to resonate.

At Cisco, we like working with visionary companies, and AT&T is certainly one of them with a history and a future of some aggressive deployments and offerings that can change the market and raise the expectations of what’s possible for the networked experience for all of us.

We’re like minded in that way and working together to chart even more possibilities in the future. But matching that vision is an execution track-record that is impressive with an extensive range of “firsts” that would be hard to list here. We’re honored to have played a role and pleased that AT&T recognizes the way that we’ve done it, too, specifically highlighting our diversity program.

As much as we value awards such as this (and we do! In fact, Cisco is firmly committed to achieving this high bar this year, too), all of us at Cisco value even more the opportunity to work with such a leading company, to innovate together, and to do all that we can to help enable AT&T’s vision of “Your World. Delivered.”

AT&T is wonderful. The customer service is great and they are a delight to be part of.
