Stuck with Sockets: Why is the network programming interface still from the 1980s?
I’m told that it’s a good panel — a fun panel. A panel that is deeply technical, highly opinionated, and fairly provacitive. At least, I’m told that that’s how it’s been at the last few HOTI conferences.
The panel is moderated by Patrick Geoffray, who is known for being a strong personality in himself (I’ve known Patrick for several years — he’s always entertaining to be around). I’ll even admit that Patrick is already preparing the panelists by riling us all up in pre-August “get ready to rumble!!” emails. Indeed, some of my fellow panelists are already firing opening shots.
This’ll be fun.
