How can partners thrive with Cisco Architectures?
Last week, we had a lively session on the topic of architecture-based solutions and ways partners can ensure maximum ROI for customers. During the session, we met with two Learning Partners: George Churchwell, CEO of Tech2000, and Pat Bodin, CEO of Firefly. We also heard from Andres Sintes, Global Director of Cisco’s Worldwide Learning Partner Channel. We even learned about great mobile options that mean you can take classes from anywhere.
If you missed the broadcast, be sure to check out the full recap and replay video.
Westcon helping Cisco partners with global distribution
We also got the chance to chat with Bill Hurley of Cisco partner Westcon Group. He told us how Comstor (their distributor business unit) is now offering comprehensive support for the Global Partner Network for the TelePresence Distributor as Agent track.

Xerox Managed Print Servers mean partners and customers can print anywhere
While we’re on the topic of Borderless Networks and their anytime, anywhere, on any device mantra, Cisco recently made a move to replace its current HP print services with Xerox Managed Print Services. This means that Cisco employees no longer have any barriers to printing when they’re on the road.
But don’t feel left out – partners have the same ability to bring new capabilities in print management and cloud IT outsourcing to customers. Find out how in this blog entry.
VMworld and Cisco forcast clouds and virtualization solutions
At VMworld last week, VMware and Cisco announced a new-fangled technology innovation: an enhancement to their combined virtualization solutions that help customers accelerate their journey to the cloud.
The companies also announced enhancements to several desktop virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions designed to boost scalability, security and performance. Click here for more details.
