Getting the Most Out Of Your Cisco Partner Summit Experience

Cisco Partner Summit is the event of the year for the global Cisco channel community, and it gets mighty busy. Whether you’re attending the big show live in Boston, participating via Cisco Virtual Partner Summit, or just following along for news announcements, key messages and other important Cisco information, your attention span is only so great. You have a business to run, and we understand that.

One thing we hear quite often from Cisco partners is a request to better understand all the places Partner Summit information and social media activity will be available so you can prioritize your days and do as much social engagement as possible without diverting too much of your energy from the business you came to conduct. So as Partner Summit gets underway in just three weeks, here’s a list of social media destinations to pay attention to:

Cisco Channels blog: Good for you, you made it here already! Throughout Partner Summit, the blog will be information central. This is where you’ll be able to catch up with daily news announcements, read key messages from Cisco Worldwide Partner Organization executives and other Cisco leaders, and watch videos of Cisco team members and Cisco partners sharing daily insights. Check back every day for new insights and information, and after Partner Summit, keep following as we provide highlights from the event and dive a little deeper into some of the key conversations.

@Cisco_Channels: Follow our Twitter handle, @cisco_channels, for daily updates, live tweets from main stage sessions and breakouts, and event information updated in real time. Make sure you tag all of your own tweets with #ciscops13, the official hashtag of Cisco Partner Summit.

@Cisco_Reporter: Our Roving Reporter is once again on the loose at Cisco Partner Summit! He (or is it she?) will share fun facts and on-the-scene videos throughout Partner Summit and Boston, and may just let slip some juicy news or a party invitation…

Cisco Channels Facebook: You’ll get plenty of news here, too, and lots of photos and video from throughout the show – those grace notes that make Partner Summit what it is.

Cisco Channels on YouTube: Bookmark our playlist and watch videos from throughout the event, from executive interviews to partners and party scenes.

Cisco Channel Partner Group on LinkedIn: If you haven’t yet joined the Cisco Channel Partner LinkedIn group, you’re missing out on vigorous, regular discussion reserved only for the Cisco channel community. Join today.

Cisco Channel Partners on Google+: Read, watch and share Cisco Partner Summit content throughout Partner Summit week and beyond.

Cisco Social Listening: Throughout Partner Summit and Virtual Partner Summit, take a look around. On screens big and small, you’ll get to see visual representations of Cisco social conversations as they happen. Our listening team is pulling out all the stops to show you real-time interactions on Twitter, stream photos and videos being captured throughout the event, and represent conversations happening between your peers not only in Boston, but also throughout the world. It’s easy to join in on the conversation, just be sure to use the #ciscops13 hashtag in all of your tweets and you might see your name on the big screen, too!

Watch this space for more need-to-know details on our Partner Summit contests and prizes, and what’s coming from our 2013 Partner Ambassadors – Cisco partners just like you who will be sharing their Partner Summit experiences throughout the event.
