From TelePresence to Collaboration: Cisco Partners Share Their Expertise
From time to time we like to spotlight our partners and the services they provide. We met some great partners last month at Partner Summit 2012 and asked them to tell us a little bit about their company and the services they offer to partners and customers.
Watch this video to hear from Firefly, PT Multipolar, Providea, IBM, and Leverage Information Systems.
What else did we find out about our partners?
We talked to Pat Bodin, Cisco Learning Partner and Firefly’s CEO, who told us about the global company’s participation as the “poster child” for the Business Acceleration Learning Partner program and winning the Learning Partner of the year award.
Learning Partners work directly with Cisco partners and customers to help them better understand and deploy Cisco technologies, accelerate their businesses, and gain a return. Firefly tracks those returns.
We also caught up with Antonius Gunawan from Indonesia who works for Gold Partner PT Multipolar http://www.multipolar.com. The company works primarily in banking, telecommunications, and government. PT Multipolar’s list of certifications is long and includes: Advanced Borderless Network Architecture Specialization, Advanced Collaboration Architecture Specialization, Advanced Data Center Architecture Specialization, Advanced Data Center Storage Networking, Advanced Routing & Switching, Advanced Security, and Advanced Unified Communications, to name a few.
As a Tandberg partner for many years and now a Cisco partner, Todd Luttinger from Providea said his company’s focus is predominantly on business video. This Premier partner offers end-to-end expertise that encompasses video endpoints, infrastructure, multimedia, and Unified Communications Integration. The company also helps customers plan, design, implement, and support video networks.
Sure, you’ve heard of IBM, but do you know that IBM is a Gold Cisco partner with a number of specializations? We talked to Engin Ozbay from Istanbul, Turkey, who said that Cisco is IBM’s most important partner–both globally and in his region. And why not? IBM and Cisco partner together on a variety of solutions, including energy and smart grid, banking, borderless networks, and data center.
Leverage Information Systems
Doug Chester filled us in on all of Leverage Information System’s specializations: Collaboration, UCS, Data Center, Advanced Wireless, Security, Routing, and Switching – you name it, they specialize in it.
Doug says, “The great value of being a Cisco partner is that we truly offer transformational solutions to our business customers. It’s not just about selling switches and routers and the end-point products but it’s about the specific solutions that solve problems that most businesses run into everyday.”
We had a great time meeting partners and learning more about the services they offer. We would love to meet more of you so if you would like to be featured in an upcoming blog, let us know in the comments below.Tags:
