Exploring Virtual Partner Summit 2014
Cisco Partner Summit is only days away, and if you aren’t attending the live event in Las Vegas, there’s still time to register for Cisco Virtual Partner Summit (VPS). You will be joining thousands of Cisco partners from around the globe for three days of Cisco Partner Summit keynotes, executive chats, and breakout sessions on business-critical topics.
So what’s in store for VPS this year? When you enter VPS, you will see a range of options and tabs that will allow you not only to register for sessions, but also review speaker and related information for these sessions, VPS Dialog information, and get updates on Business Transformation Sessions.
You’ll be able to view the live keynote presentations happening from the main stage in Las Vegas (replays will be available until April 28), and also participate in breakout sessions targeting different technology segments, business transformation strategies, and market opportunities specific to each region and presented in local times and languages.
With so much going on that week, you’ll need a way to keep track. Check out the Sessions tab > My Agenda to access all of the sessions you registered for.
On the Engage tab, you’ll see the latest conversation on Twitter about Cisco Partner Summit. You can even add your own tweets without leaving VPS. The #ciscops14 hashtag is automatically added so all you have to do is tweet!
We also have a lot going on outside of Twitter. Check out the Engage on Social tab to access links to our other social media vehicles. These links will keep you up-to-date with our most recent blogs, Facebook and LinkedIn posts, and videos.
Continuing at this year’s Cisco VPS are VPS Dialogs. This is your opportunity to engage with Cisco executives and thought leaders on Cisco Partner Summit’s most important topics.
These special sessions are designed to tackle the changing needs of your business. Among other topics, you’ll hear insights on Cisco’s Internet of Everything (IoE) plans, how to stay ahead of your competition in terms of revenue-generation marketing, and how Cisco’s new areas of investment drive our partner ecosystem.
Here is a schedule of speakers for the VPS Dialogs. You’ll have an opportunity to chat with:
- John Chambers, Chairman and CEO
- Wendy Bahr, SVP, Americas Partner Organization
- Ruma Balasubramanian, VP, Partner Organization, Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China
- Nick Earle, SVP, Worldwide Service Sales
- Bruce Klein, SVP, Worldwide Partner Organization

While you may not be with us in Las Vegas, you are as much a part of the action as the live attendees. You can still participate in the sessions, VPS dialogs, and our Cisco Partner Summit 2014 contests. We will see you, live or virtually, soon!Tags:
