Cisco Marketing Velocity 2014 is next week in Chicago. For those of you that are unfamiliar, this is an annual live event where we meet with senior level certified partners in marketing functions to discuss the latest innovations and trends in marketing.
I imagine most of you that will be joining us are just about ready to make the trip, but with the jam-packed agenda set for next week, I’ve prepared a checklist to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action.
Just a quick aside for those of you that won’t be joining us in Chicago next week, a full recap of the event will be available about one week after Velocity ends. That recap will wrap up our coverage of Marketing Velocity and provide you with all the resources, including replays, from the show.

Follow our official Cisco Marketing Velocity hashtag #mktgvelocity to find out what attendees are saying about our event next week. Join in on the conversation by including #mktgvelocity in your tweets, Instagram pictures, and Facebook posts.
As always, we understand that you can’t be everywhere at once, so let us be your eyes and ears on the ground in Chicago! We’ll have recaps, tweets, and pictures that keep you abreast of everything going on at Marketing Velocity this year.

How it works: You are automatically entered into the Leaderboard Contest if your twitter handle appears on the leaderboard located within the Social Media Listening Dashboard. (The Social Media Listening Dashboard is located on site at the Social Media Listening Hub or through your mobile device if you want to check where you rank while you’re on the go.)
Share your thoughts, perspectives, and experiences about Cisco Marketing Velocity on Twitter and include the #mktgvelocity hashtag. Format of tweets are open to text, photos, and videos.
How does one appear on the Leaderboard? It’s simple! Appearing on the leaderboard is based on volume of tweets that include the hashtag #mktgvelocity. So, the more you tweet and include the #mktgvelocity hashtag, the more likely it is you’ll appear in the leaderboard.
Prize: One winner will receive a Visa gift card valued at US $50.00.
Contest Period: The Leaderboard Contest opens on May 5, 2014 at 9 a.m. Central Time and ends on May 8, 2014 at 12 p.m. Central Time.
Eligibility: Open to current Cisco authorized channel partners registered to attend Cisco Marketing Velocity 2014.
Requirements: All tweets must be sent during the contest period and tagged with #mktgvelocity to be considered a valid submission. Check out the official rules for more details.
