Big Changes Are Coming For Cisco SMB

As the Director of SMB Sales within Cisco’s Worldwide Partner Led Organization, I get a first-hand view of Cisco’s role in the SMB space. Each month, I’ll share my thoughts on Cisco’s SMB strategy and give you a glimpse into some of the changes that are ahead for Cisco and its partners selling into this hugely important market.

SMB will represent a $25 billion market by 2016, and these customers are clearly in transition from buying point products to wanting solutions that help them get more value out of their networks. The network can now provide employees the flexibility to work remotely, at any time and from any place, meaning SMB customers can drive productivity, grow sales, and attract the best talent in the industry thanks to flexible work options. It’s no surprise that SMB customers are becoming some of the fastest adopters of cloud and BYOD, two of the important mega trends in our industry today.

In an effort to ensure we’re aligning Cisco’s strategy to our partners and SMB customers,  we’re taking feedback we received from partners around the world and using that information to revamp our SMB partner value proposition.

Over the last few months, we’ve conducted a series of focus groups around the world and listened to the feedback that partners have provided us. We understand we need to become easier to do business with in the SMB space, and also more agile, In short, we need to be a leader in helping you become that partner of the future that can fully capitalize on the opportunities in front of us.

In response to your feedback, we’re working diligently on revamping our SMB partner value proposition and taking a look at how we can improve it from the perspectives of profitability, programs, marketing, product, and technology. So for the next few months through video blogs, I’ll be sharing more insights and thoughts into what our new SMB partner value proposition will look like as we take full advantage of this SMB market opportunity!

  1. In this time SMB sales has been incresing ration worldiwide. So that it will meet $25 Billions sales target by 2016. It need to improve its market strategy and product quality with advanced trchnology.
