Hi all, I’m Kati Dahm and I’m interning with the Social Media Communications team at Cisco this summer. I’ll be taking over for Lindsay with your top news stories of the week, coming from The Network to your computer every Friday. With The Network fully underway, these are our top stories of the week.
Dino Farinacci has developed a tool called LISP to make the transfer between technology easier than it’s ever been. No wires, no dialing in, no hassle!
Collecting and analyzing colossal amounts of data used to be considered impossible. With this new database, a big feat is becoming smaller and smaller.
As part of the launch of our new corporate newsroom, “The Network”: Cisco’s Technology News Site” we want to hear from you! Submit your story ideas that fall under the following six topics: video, collaboration, data center/virtualization, core networks, Cisco culture and social media. The second poet in our summer poetry series is Rachna Vohra. Rachna’s poem, “The Classroom Just Got Bigger,” tells the story of technology’s impact on learning and its impact on the global classroom.
Cisco has unveiled AppHQ for the Cius, Cisco’s enterprise business tablet. AppHQ, the newest addition to the Cius tablet is an application ecosystem that creates, manages and deploys enterprise applications, making it easier for project managers to control and maintain good business practices.
