Talk2Cisco recently sat down with Robert Pepper, Vice President, Global Technology and Policy at Cisco, to discuss what we can expect in 2014 from broadband. We discussed the impact and trends on mobile devices and social networking, as well as the benefits the developing world will experience as a result of broadband. The 30-minute live social broadcast was filled with information about projections from our recent Visual Networking Index report including the fact that the global demand for broadband is being driven by video. It is estimated that by 2014, 91% of all consumer traffic on the internet will be video.
Below we’ve provided a list of highlights from the broadcast. Watch, learn and tell us what you think.
