Cisco Chairman and CEO John Chambers helped Network World celebrate its 25th anniversary this week by offering a perspective on the past, present and future of networking.
Cisco was tiny when Network World (our industry’s leading trade publication) first rolled off the presses in 1986. We had just four employees and were still led by our founders out of Stanford University.
Twenty-five years later (and one year after Cisco celebrated its our own 25 -year milestone), Chambers says: “The network is more important today than at any time in history.”
