Dear Mr. John, you say that, “It took us more than 20 years to get two billion people on the Internet, but estimates suggest the next two billion will connect to the network in less than half that time.” Your estimates are conservative, for next two billions will stand connected within next 4-5 years.
And, your vision regarding connectivity of everything is not unrealistic. You are simply peeping into the future and informing loudly the people who are busy somewhere else.
Globalization of KRID (knowledge, research, innovation and development) has already started empowering those countries and people who could not get adequate access to the tools, technologies, knowledge, skill and development of scientific revolutions that ushered in initially in 18th century, yet have unfolded many times afterwards.
Technology has progressed much beyond its role of enabler; it has already changing the society, politics and economics deterministically. Its deterministic role will increase day by day and your vision and work will prove one of the major keys to the future revolutions in the society.
