Difference Makers

Mike Krzyzewski, Duke’s Men’s Basketball Coach and Joe Paterno, Penn State’s Football coach will surface the secrets to their success in a 90-minute special June 30, at 6 p.m. EDT called Difference Makers: Life Lessons from Paterno and Krzyzewski.  Paterno and Coach K are the two most successful coaches in their respective NCAA sports.

ESPN is taking advantage of the immersive, in-person experience of Cisco TelePresence to enable a more timely delivery of video commentary, including greater fan access to unique sports analysis.  In addition to Difference Makers, ESPN has deployed TelePresence to the home of some of their leading sport analysts to increase the company’s ability to deliver the news as it happens. Cisco TelePresence combines the highest resolution video, real-time connectivity and amazing ease of use leading to a richer experience for the ESPN viewer.

  1. I am waiting for the show. True stories of real public figures are really very motivational and inspiring. Besides they are the coaches of my sports so it will be fun to listen them.
    Honestly talking I never thought that actually is cisco is operating the telepresence system of ESPN because normally people don’t notice this. So, it means you guys are also a big fish.

  5. I just saw this article today and missed the show. This would have been great. I love watching shows by successful people and learning what they did to be successful. Maybe there will be a rebroadcast of this.

  6. It’s amazing at the technology that is used not only in sports shows by news in general. Most people probably don’t realize the amount of technology that is involved, maybe because they seem to expect it.

    It will be interesting to see how interactive shows become in the future, especially with the increase in online social networking and media sharing.
